I'm convinced the contents of our refrigerator are self-renewing. Earlier, I had it open and was examining its meager contents. Finding nothing, I went into my room unsatisfied. A moment later, I came back out and opened it again. This time it was brimming with items, including several chocolate bunnies and a steak. Yeah, you'd think something logical, like: my mother went grocery shopping. But she is not the Flash, and I heard not a sound.

I almost feel guilty for how satisfied I am with particular recent goings-on in my life.

And did someone punch me in the arm last night? It really hurts.
