Halloween festivities commence Saturday. I have no costume, no money for a costume, and nothing more substantial than ordinary clothes to trick you into thinking I'm wearing a costume, so don't pinch me or frown or whatever when you see me sans Halloween attire this weekend. (If you see me this weekend.) Leisy, however, will be in full banana-suit regalia... Oops, I've let it slip. Promise to act surprised when that crazy banana's identity is revealed to you ON THE DANCEFLOOR. What!

Don't fret, it looks like the DJs will be costume-less as well. Well, at least a couple of them. Last year's costumes just seems like too lame an idea to pull off (not that they're LAME inherently, just that we wore them last year), even tho no one will remember.

Which makes me think I should have bought that awesome orange hippie dress I saw last night...and accented it with a faux-daisy headband. Damn it... I'd go back and get it, but someone else picked it up after I tried it on. Dammit, I still should try.

But naturally, I have to work 12 hours tomorrow, so no costume-hunting will be done. *grumble*

And I still have to find a "storybook character" costume for one of my brothers, who has no idea what a "storybook" is. I say Pinnochio. But how can I make a telescoping nose?
