lastweekThere are ants in my bed! Yesterday, they were in the bathroom. Next I'll have ants... in my pants? Not cool.
Every few minutes, I'll survey the sheets, see three or so walking around confusedly, crush them, wait a few more minutes, and repeat. A couple bit my feet while I was napping. (I've been having half-asleep hallucinatory dreams, so at first I chalked it up to that.) I have no idea where they're coming from, or what they could possibly want. There is no food here; I don't eat in bed.
These ants need to leave.
P.S. Speaking of bugs, I also found a pressed gnat tucked inside the back cover of my copy of Fabre's Book of Insects. This, as opposed to the ants, is delightful.
