It's so sad when people you knew while being 1/2 of a couple suddenly (or gradually) stop knowing you after you are once again singular. This happens even when acquaintances were initially forged as a team, rather than one having known said party before entering into coupledom. They just pick the favorite half and stick with them.

More and more I feel like just staying in my house. People seem vicious. I lack the energy to entertain.
